The International Franchise Association (IFA) is a non-profit trade association of franchisors, franchisees, and suppliers. Founded in 1960, the IFA’s office is based in Washington, D.C. As a membership organization, it promotes good franchising practices by ensuring all members follow a rigid code of ethics. The IFA helps to support and develop the franchise industry by organizing events and meetings, publishing articles and books, and by its online database. The ABA provides members with opportunities to enhance their professional skills, grow their network and access world-class resources to stay on top of current developments in the legal field.

The International Trademark Association (INTA) is a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation. As a not-for-profit association, INTA’s role is to serve its members and society as a trusted and influential advocate for the economic and social value of brands.

The American Bar Association (ABA) is a voluntary bar association of lawyers and law students. It was founded on August 21, 1878. One important function of the ABA is its creation and maintenance of a code of ethical standards for lawyers. The Model Code of Professional Responsibility (1969) and/or the newer Model Rules of Professional Conduct (1983) have been adopted in 49 states, the District of Columbia and the United States Virgin Islands. 

The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors is an international association for professionals representing sellers and buyers of businesses ranging from $5 to $500 million in transaction value.  AM&AA offers qualified independent advisors, a solid platform for professional collaboration. Members provide corporate financial advisory services to measure, build, finance, and ultimately, convert business value into personal wealth. The AM&AA and Loyola Chicago University offer the first certificate program of its kind, the CM&AA (Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor) It is taught in a unique, week-long program aimed at professionals working in the middle market. It has become the Gold Standard for Middle Market Financial Advisors.

The US-China Business Council (USCBC) is a private, non-profit organization aimed at promoting trade between the United States and China. It comprises around 200 American companies that trade and do business with China and receives around $13.9m in dues and other funding every year. The council has many member companies including 3M, Adobe Systems Inc., Apple Inc., Amazon, Bank of America, Coca-Cola, The Walt Disney Company, Gap Inc., Walmart and IPO Pang Shenjun Law Firm.
